Blackstone's Nido Student Living unveils boutique residence in Notting Hill

London, UK October 24 2011 – Blackstone’s Nido Student Living will unveil their new boutique residence in Notting Hill, Thursday 3rd November 2011. Representatives of universities, colleges and language schools will tour the 6-storey, 277-bedroom accommodation and already, occupancy is at 95% with students from 55 different countries.

Nido cycles its way through summer with the 1ST use of video advertising technology on bikes

Promo bikes using interact graphics and video technology will be cycling around London for the first time today as part of a brand raising campaign for NIDO aimed at central London students. The unique ‘Promodigital’ bikes will be capturing and displaying images of students near London Metropolitan University. The bikes, which have an outdoor 37" LCD screen and media player, have been developed specifically for the ‘Get Your Face Out!’ viral campaign by PROMOGROUP LTD. for REDCOW CREATIVE, an independent creative and marketing agency, and their client NIDO.

CycleSurgery and The Grille Restaurant open at Nido

An innovative restaurant and leading cycle retailer have chosen Nido, The Blackstone Group’s student Hall of Residence, as the site for their latest restaurant/shop opening. Nido is the name for two 16-storey, glass-fronted towers on Pentonville Road, King’s Cross, developed at a cost of £95 million and launched last year by The Blackstone Group, to provide first class accommodation and services to undergraduates and postgraduates from around the world who are studying in London.

NAFSA 2008

Nido, the brand new concept in student living, will return to NAFSA (National Association for Study Abroad) on May 25-30 being held in Washington DC. This will be the 3rd occasion for Nido to exhibit at the annual conference and create awareness about the Nido accommodation concept within the North American market.
