Nido Technology

Internet Access

Your room will have free broadband internet which is included in your rent and you'll be able to use wireless in many of the communal parts of the building. If you're a cyber pro and need more speed than the basic connection, additional bandwidth is available on request for an extra charge. You may also set up a VOIP contract on your in-room phone to make and receive cheap international calls for a fee.

Cashless Card

Your room key doubles as a cashless card that you upload money onto from the web and can use around Nido in laundry. Mum and dad can even top it up from home for you for a bit of a treat. We like to keep your money safe, no cash on hand is the safer and more convenient option, but for the convenience of your guests most Nido facilities accept cash too.

Your Intranet

We know most of you are web savvy so we created something to allow you to better manage your time at Nido, your way. Your Intranet allows you access to your Helpdesk, where all maintence faults can be reported and managed, so you are always informed on timings. It also allows you to search Nido for people with the same interests, who speak your language or go to your university. Not to mention listing all internal events put on for you monthy by our events team and management news so you are always in the loop.
