How many students does it take to change a lightbulb?

At Nido, it’s none. You’ll have maintenance staff for that. On-site five days a week, and on emergency call out at weekends, the maintenance team will also be able to sort out all those pesky plumbing jobs, electrical fixes, and repairs in your room and the communal zones. One simple request on the Nido Intranet, and help is on the way.

In-Room Cleaning

Booked through the Nido intranet site, a thorough cleaning of your room and en-suite can be arranged at a specific time. There is an extra charge, but then isn’t help like this priceless?!

Laundry

At Nido Spitalfields, we have made it as easy as possible for those of you high flyers on the 33rd and other top floors to do your laundry. Laundries are available on every alternate floor from the 16th upwards, with the main laundry accessible on the ground floor and another two on the second and third floors. Washer and dryers are operated using your cashless card for a pay-per-use fee.

For those that don't have time to waste in our stylish laundry facility, for an extra charge you can arrange a time to drop it off for cleaning. There is a next-day turn around for laundry delivered before 10am – a life-saver for that last-minute party invite.

Bicycle storage

In the Nido basement there is covered bike storage for up to 600 bicycles. Accessed from a ramp off Frying Pan Alley next to the entrance to the building, this is free to use, and protected, like the whole complex, by CCTV. You must provide your own lock. We would recommed taking advantage of this service as the local area is wonderful to cycle around on your weekends or in your spare time.
